March 15th of each year marks the anniversary of Brewster Washers’ founding by Bill Brewster, Jr., in 1919.
This year’s anniversary, our 105th, is a bittersweet one for the company, with the passing of Sal Freda, Jr. in September of 2023.
In the 30+ years that Sal was with Brewster, and particularly those when he served as President, the company made significant strides as it opened its doors to new technologies, forged pathways into new markets, and experienced unprecedented growth. Sal was a great mentor, leader, and friend to us all.
As we remember Sal and mark this historic milestone, our deepest thanks go out to our employees, to our valued clients, and to all those who have made this incredible journey possible, as we look to the future with great promise and pledge to embrace the challenges that lie before us.
